It was gothic-meets-schoolgirl at the A/W 15 GILES show

To compliment the psychedelic colours and thorny prints of the collection, the make-up was brooding and gothic. Make up artist Lucia Pieroni from Streeters and the MAC Pro team wanted to create a softly contoured base, so skin was dusted with a mineralized foundation and set with transparent powder before cheeks were sculpted, which gave a softly shaded matt finish. Eye shadows in MAC’s Swiss Chocolate and Saddle shades were buffed across the lid, the trick being to merge the cheeks and eyes together for a seamless look. But all eyes were on the deeply glossy, dark pout created by mixing both burgundy and ebony colours together for a precise, full lip.

Hair was prepped, having label.m Volume Mousse blasted through, before being plaited into a schoolgirl French Braid and tied with a ribbon. Lashings of hairspray ensured a flat top to compliment a boyish, straight brow.
