The revered model wore Giles Deacon Couture to receive her MBE
This week, British model Erin O’Connor was awarded an MBE for her celebrated contributions to fashion and charity, which includes 20 years on the catwalks and co- founding All Walks Beyond the Catwalk, an initiative championing diversity in fashion.
To receive the honour from Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace, O’Connor wore a Giles Deacon Couture AW16 black velvet coat. The formfitting piece boasted a statement military- style front with silk ruffle accents on the sleeves, finished with an elegantly soft bustle on the back. She paired this with Stephen Jones millinery and Jimmy Choo Heels.
